Remarks & Notes

Due to their second P42DC experiencing mechanical problems, a UP AC4400CW was tacked on the point of Amtrak Train #5 for the trip west. The train can be seen here climbing the 2% grade as they're about to enter Tunnel #1 in Coal Creek Canyon.
