Jean-Marc Frybourg has recently loaded two photos of this engine after its removal from a plinth, where it had stood for 40 years, with the possibility of it being restored to working order. Here it is seen at La Chapelle depot in Paris whilst in normal service between Paris and Calais or Aulnoye for Brussels. Notice the engine standing alongside is No 231 K 8 that has been also been preserved - one of three of its type saved, Nos 231 K 8, 22 and 82, making them the most numerous surviving French Pacific type.
