| Union Pacific's North Yard and Utah Transit Authority's Warm Springs Maintenance facility are viewed from the 6th North street overpass in Salt Lake City. A fleet of FrontRunner commuter rail trains are staged in the yard for a call to serve early on Monday morning. The shop complex was built by the Union Pacific in 1955, closed in 1998, and sold to the Utah Transit Authority in 2004. Looming behind the shop complex is the Tesoro Refinery. |
