Remarks & Notes 
On July 1, 2012, a BNSF coal empty cruises through the curves at the mouth of Coal Creek Canyon, Colorado. These BNSF coal trains are fairly rare on the Moffat Tunnel Subdivision; this one is headed for loading on the Utah Railway, and is set up 2+3+1. Here the lead two units are approaching Tunnel 1, while the three middle DPUs are passing the mile 22.6 defect detector below.
