| The lighting was changing continuously, and this was a grab shot. The original image is much more backlit. The painting-like "lighting" reflects some heavy handed use of Photoshop to lighten the shadows and darken the background (note the halo around the smoke plume). It was snowing lightly, so there is a bit of white "noise". Not a perfect image but I like the Christmas card ambience. |
