A Valentine's Day plow extra was operated over the Vermont Rail System's Green Mountain Railroad Bellows Falls Subdivision to clear the most recent snow accumulation that ranged from 20-30 inches. CLP GP38 203 and the 101-year-old ex-Canadian Pacific plow, VTR X-20, are plowing a decent amount of snow as the train gains speed out of Chester, Vermont. The X-20 was built in September of 1912 by the Angus Shops for CPR as CP 401030. The plow was sold to the VTR off the Quebec Central Railway in 1971 and was originally just the VTR 20, before being renumbered to X-20 after 1976.
