With it's work already done a while before, it was now kick-back time for Montreal, Maine & Atlantic's #211 on December 3, 2011. The sun was dropping fast behind Mosquito Mountain in Prospect, Maine, and our pile at the old Lane Construction pit would soon follow. 8569 and company were feeling their last full rays of the day.
