| Big Blue - Three years ago, when this photo was taken, Conrail locos were still rather common to be seen running out of the Conrail Shared Assets Browns Yard. Here NS 5277 is crossing Snowhill St. on its way to the Dayton Branch. NS 5277 was a mainstay on this local run to Dayton for nearly three months (from Mar to Jun of 2011). She then disappeared for several months before surfacing again at the end of 2011 dressed in a fresh coat of black paint (http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=385826&nseq=2). By 2012, the Conrail Blue units were seen no more in Browns Yard. |
