| A hot westbound Z-train blast thru the crossovers at Lomax. This train is one of the few intermodal trains left on the Transcon with all trailers and no stacks. The train is passing a new look to the Chilly Sub, no Santa Fe style signals along the wayside. The BNSF signal gang is working east out of Ft. Madison over the winter and has the new signals in and the old ex-Santa Fe are removed. Sad to see the sterile control points. |
