The timeless elegant TRANS EUROP EXPRESS trainsets RAe TEE II were a technical masterpiece and pioneer work when new in 1961, capable to run under all 4 significant european railway power supply systems (15000 V 16,7 Hz AC, 25000 V 50 Hz AC, 3000 V DC, 1500 V DC) with up to 160 km per hour. Train # 1053 of SBB Historic is again operational and tested under this 4 electric systems now and is on the way to the border station Chiasso for the last test under 3000 V DC of the italian overhead wire.
