Remarks & Notes 
The snow flies and Engineer Max Casias watches intently as he makes another plunge into the deep snow drift, much as the DRGW might have cleared the line 60 years ago. It took five or six such plunges to clear the cut just west of Big Horn. On March 15 and 16, the C&TS ran work trains west from Antonito to see how far they could clear the line, and to provide some photo ops for about 30 photographers. The effort was sponsored by Historic Transport Preservation (Steam Specials).
