As the power for Q681 sits and waits for a midday crew, it’s apparent that the 8782 has visited the paint booth recently as evident by the shiny coat of paint and new boxcar logo on the long hood of this SD60M. Wearing fresh colors is nothing new to this unit since this is the third paint scheme for it to wear as well as the second time in Montgomery that I have seen it. The next train seen this morning would be the lite power of CSX Y550.
