On July 1st, 2014, Metrolink train #689 (Irvine CA to Los Angeles CA) approaches the Orange, California, station. Train #689 includes two unique pieces of equipment in its consist: Coach 187 (the only Bombardier coach to wear the new scheme) and, for power, uniquely-painted Rosen Beaudin Group (RBRX) 18533. This locomotive is an ex-GO Transit F59PH (GOT 533) that was sold to a commuter agency in Detroit, Michigan (MITRAIN) that never got off the ground, and is painted in that agency's colors. While Metrolink rotates power out for Positive Train Control (PTC) antenna installation, they have leased three former GP units from Rosen Beaudin Group - but the other two are still in GO Transit's colors.
