| The Iowa Zone got 2 CN SD40-2's paired up on the Cedar Rapid L563 local at the end of May. Well into July this pair has stayed together and worked to keep traffic moving in and out of Cedar Rapids. The one of the few problem they had with either unit was back on June 1st when the 5377 had a traction motor fire and had to be setout at Central City for some TLC repairs. Here the 5377 sits over night waiting mechanical forces to come tomorrow and fix her. |
