Remarks & Notes
BML#53, a late 1940's GE 70-Ton diesel electric locomotive acquired used in 1970 from the Montpelier & Barre Railroad in Vermont, seen at dusk sitting on the City Point Central Railroad Museum siding at MP 2.5 of the B&MLRR's 33-mile grade from Belfast to Burnham Junction. BML#50, the road's first non steam locomotive which the line bought new in November, 1946, is seen approaching from the west still going strong after 68 years of service to the B&MLRR.
