| A loaded coal train has stopped at the switch on the tail track. Here the lead units would take part of the train into the spur while the pushers shove the remaining part into the train track to clear the switch and back up the switchback. Then these units would back out of the spur and put the train back together. The tail track has been extended and this practice is history. |
