On one of the last nights the Delaware & Hudson GP38-2s worked the D45 job out of Saratoga Springs, New York, together, the train is illuminated on its arrival at the Port of Albany, New York. D&H 7304 and 7303 are passing under I-787 on the approach to Kenwood Yard with a hefty cut of freight. Crew aware of the pending flash and a total of 5 Alien Bees B1600 flash were used in this image.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
