Two leased EMD's lead two more home-rail EMD's out of the CTC island at Towner with a lengthy Minot, ND to Northtown, MN manifest in tow. Three sidings on the Devils Lake Sub have been converted to CTC with power switches controlled by BNSF's Grand Forks Dispatcher and by the end of 2014, 3 more sidings will receive the CTC treatment. The Devils Lake Sub, running between Minot and Grand Forks, ND used to be a quiet mainline that hosted a handful of locals and both Empire Builders but because of a new agreement, through trains on the Minot-Dilworth pool can operate the entire route via the Hillsboro Sub, which has brought many more trains, and many more headaches to both TWC/ABS lines.
