Today in Zürich main station a new publicity paint scheme on a Re 460 was introduced. Re 460 036 will run as "Welcome to Japan" for about one year across Switzerland. The reason for this beautiful decorated locomotive is the celebration of 150 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and Switzerland. The images show Fuji-San, Japans highest mountain, the city of Tokio from the sky, fireworks (Hanabi taikai), autumn colors in the japanese woods, Sakura blossoms, the Daibutsu (large Buddha carved in stone) and a japanese woman in the traditional Kimono clothing.
