An front view of low-built Diesel Shunter no. 288 at the Danish Railway Museum at Odense. The loco was built by Frichs in Aarhus for light shunting in stations. The loco type was originally developed in Germany. The power unit is a Leyland 680 6-cylinder diesel engine with Voith hydraulic transmission and traction to the wheels via a chain drive. The loco was rebuilt after an accident at East Gate in July 2001. 2001. It was repaired and passed to the museum.
