The steam locomotive FDp20-578 stands standing on a pedestal, near the depot THC-1 Kyiv-Pasaghyrskyi. First was the original name IS20-578 until 1962. It is the only surviving steam locomotive of the entire series IS20. This steam locomotive built in Junary, 1941 on Voroshilovgrad Locomotive works (modern name - Luhansk Locomotive works). From the time when this steam locomotive was built, he worked at the depot Staryi Oskol (Moskov-Donetsk railway). Then this steam locomotive was transmitted to depot Petropavlosk (Omsk Railway). And then this steam locomotive was transmitted to depot Barabinsk (Omsk Railway). In october 1956 this steam locomotive was transmitted to depot Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi (South-Western Railway / Pivdenno-Zahidna zaliznytsya) |
