| CB&Q/BN and SOU/NS long cooperated on a run-through train that ran will pooled power. BN units generally were turned back at Louisville, while Southern units ran as far as Beardstown. For a while in the early 1980s, BN frequently assigned their SDP45s to the train. Here, a Southern GP30 leads 3 of the rare EMDs north out of Huntingburg. |
