The Blizzard of 2015 was overall a major bust for the Jersey Shore area, with most locations recording between 8 and 10 inches of snow--- far from the 2 to 3 feet that was originally predicted. NJ Transit shut down all operations starting at 8 PM on Monday and ran on a weekend schedule yesterday, while crews worked to clear rails and switches of snow and ice. Today, NJ Transit is running on a normal weekday schedule, and the North Jersey Coast Line is no exception.
