Remarks & Notes
The CSX crew has just handed off their loaded fly ash train to an engineer for the Sequatchie Valley Railroad, who will take the train north out of Bridgeport to a company in the drywall industry. The depot is the fourth to be constructed in Bridgeport, and the first was destroyed by General Braxton Bragg during the Civil War in 1863. The current structure was built in 1917 by the L&N. Left of the train is a Civil War cannon and a beautiful hilltop home.
