The vehicle was built in 1955 by SLM, BBC, MFO, SAAS for service on secondary lines of the SBB. Since 1997, the vehicle run for the Oensingen-Balsthal-Bahn as number 641. Since january 2014 with DSF, the vehicle is used for a special project and it is not intended in the moment, to become historic railcar later.
