| While the South Fork of Long Island provides lucrative service for the LIRR, the North Fork is something they would rather forget about. This is one of only two daily "scoots" that make up the peak summer service to the North Fork. During the off season there are days with no trains and one-car trains are not unheard of. The trains is seen here just beginning to depart the terminal at Greenport. |
