| Mine run U05 hustles up the 22-mile long Wolf Creek Branch with a clean standard cab Dash 9 at the point, passing the south end of the siding at McClure, KY. While Norfolk & Western CPL's have all but disappeared across the main line from Norfolk to Columbus, the various deep-seated branch lines of West Virginia and Kentucky still retain their decades-old signals for guiding trains to the various mines that once were the bread and butter of the N&W. |
