The all night drive from Eastern Montana with a friend and fellow co-worker suddenly became worth it, after MRL's ML spent nearly four hours switching out their pickup in Garrison and adding another unit for the climb up the backside of Mullan Pass. The delay helped the sun rise above the mountains and soon the thunderous roar of three EMD's, the leader: one of two active 20 cylinder SD45 on the MRL, filled the warm Summer air as a new cast Nathan P5 echoed across the Little Blackfoot River Valley.
This is the definition of heaven. |
