Utah Railway 3001 is being turned on the wye at the Martin, Utah yard. The wye is located on a high, narrow fill and a derailment on the tail of the wye could easily result in an overturned engine. That rock strewn slope in the background is a lot further away than it appears. Between the engine and that talus covered slope is a small electric substation, several homes, a paved residential street, US highway 6, the Price River and the Union Pacific double track Provo Sub.
