| A very late 113 finally gets rolling after tangling with a transport truck at the highway crossing south of this location earlier in the morning. The crew has taken control of their train, done a brake test or two after some SBU issues, and is seen here passing the defunct siding at Arclin Industries (now Abandoned) on their way north. As you can see, SD40-2 1733 rolled away with minor scratches. Can't say the same for the truck. Impact speed was 14mph as this is the cautionary limits for North Bay Yard. No one was injured in the incident. |
