| DC4104 shoves a suburban push-pull set made up of ex British Rail passenger cars into the Waitakere tunnel. This working only had one week left when I photographed it, with EMU sets taking over the Auckland suburban network from the following Monday. The scenic single track section to Waitakere was not included in the electrification scheme, and would sadly be replaced by a bus. |
