| This colorful dogs breakfast EMD consist was a nice bonus surprise while waiting for the Strate's Carnival train to leave Mechanicville Yard on a beautiful crisp morning. The very unusual and rare CP SD60M/UP SD9043MAC combo arrived largely 'under the radar'. Two NS units; an ACE & a M-2 were added to the consist with a midmorning departure east meeting counterpart PAS 287 at Hemstreet Park. The unusual combo is seen dodging cloud shadows as it curves towards the site of the former JV Tower where It will stop and switch at Hoosick Junction ahead. The freight will make slow progress to Ayer as it outlaw at Buckland and again at Gardner on its journey east with the trailing two units DIT behind the NS add ons. |
