| Late afternoon along the Union Pacific's ex-SP Alhambra Subdivision in El Monte finds a westbound UP stack train crossing the San Gabriel river as it heads toward Shops Yard in Los Angeles. The flyover structure adjacent to the UP mainline here carries Metrolink's busy San Gabriel Subdivision over the river as well as the UP freight route. |
