A Chase Gunnoe photo charter almost started in disaster when after the first pass-by, on the Durbin Wye, Climax number three was backing up when a voice over the radio was heard saying "We broke a rail." A one foot chunk of metal broke off at the joint as the second car passed over. Fortunately, the train made it over and was able to continue on its journey using the main line.
