Doused in autumn's beautiful, golden evening light, Chicago (Corwith), IL to Stockton, CA doublestacks split the eastbound control signals at Monica as they quickly race west toward the setting sun on BNSF's Chillicothe Subdivision. The yard at Corwith threw quite the consist together for this train which includes a BNSF H2 SD70MAC, a leased CREX (Citicorp Railmark Inc.) ES44AC, a UP SD70M and an NS "Catfish" Dash 9 widecab. The control point at Monica sits about a mile and a half west of the actual town and is MP 148.0 on the Chilli Sub, about 82 miles east of Ft. Madison, IA.
