Special snow fighting equipment of the Bergen line in Norway, now part of the Rallarmuseet (navvies museum) in Finse, Norways highest railway station on 1222 meter a.s.l. Working direction of this plow was from left to right, towed by a locomotive. The red metal sheets were mechanically extended and attracted the snow from both sides of the track into the rail. The silver plates on the left were moved apart, so that the snow was able to leave the plow. Then the snow lying in middle of the track was hurled away with the steam snow blower. This snow plow was built in Kronstad in 1916, the frame is from Skarbo in 1905. The same technique was used till a few years ago on the Bernina line of the RhB in Switzerland.
