| For the Railway Touring Company (RTC) from the UK, a steam train of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB) circulated over the tracks of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGB) between Realp and Disentis and back on this perfect autumn day. The train with cogwheel locomotive HG 3/4 # 4 is on the 11.0 % grade rack section from Andermatt up to the Oberalp pass, below Nätschen. In the background the Urseren valley and the mountains near the Furka pass with the pyramid of 3099 meter high Gross Muttenhorn. |
