| While its unique Super 7-23B power made the Monongahela Railway a desirable destination, there was much more coal traffic than the eleven units could possibly handle, and there was a large variety of run-through power on the line. Here a trio of Pittsburgh & Lake Erie GP38’s bring an empty train southbound over the concrete arch bridge that spans Ten Mile Creek outside of Jefferson, PA. |
