The calm before the storm. Clouds have built up all morning, but the sun has been coming out off and on. The vast open spaces of Northern Colorado sets the scene as northbound stacks from Denver, Colorado to Tacoma, Washington make their way along the ribbon of steel rail near Platte River Junction just north of Wellington, Colorado on January 30, 2016. The train just has about 20-miles left before reaching its next crew change point in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
