After switching Kemira Waterworks and Canroof, CN 543 gets ready to head down to Keating for a break before returning to Oakville. Probably one of the most interesting locations to railfan in Toronto, 543 idles away directly in the middle of Lakeshore Avenue between Carlaw Avenue and Leslie Street. Luckily for the would be Toronto driver, this move nearly always occurs at night, yet it still tends to stir a bit of chaos. A downpour was occurring at the time, and it was wreaking havoc on my lens, as well as the street lights and reflections on the road, nonetheless this was the best I could get. Thanks a bunch to the crew for their help.
For the train and storm chaser. Trains with thunderstorms, dark clouds, rain, lightning, hurricanes - tropical storms, funnel clouds, storm light, rainbows, and snow storms.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
