Amtrak train #574, a southbound San Diegan, arrives at the Santa Ana station on Fourth Street. Santa Ana, the county seat of Orange County, was served for years by this Spanish-style depot built by the Santa Fe Railway in 1939. Within months of this July 20th, 1985, scene, this station would close as Amtrak would relocate to the newly constructed Santa Ana Transportation Center on September 7th, 1985, not far north of this location.
