| Lately the 5400's series units have been used as a kicker on ethanol trains in Iowa that have foreign power that is less than 4000 horses. Here the U706 makes 50 mph easy as they pace along highway 57 between Sinclair and New Hartford. Keeping up with trains east of Ackley isn't very easy as they can maintain 50 mph with retaliative ease to Cedar Falls. This power would run thru to the CSXT at Chicago for points east. |
