For the first time in over a decade, Amtrak passes thru on its way on the Sunset Route in the Florida panhandle. The train stayed overnight in Pensacola before heading on east to Jacksonville, Florida. The Choctawhatchee River is swollen from the rains as the train passes over the trestle.
A collection of Amtrak's Sunset Limited during the time it still operated coast-to-coast, all the way to Florida, before it seized operations after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
