On a chilly October night in the New River Gorge, an empty coal train lights up the C&O signal at Quinnimont, West Virginia as it prepares to run around its train, pick up another unit, and proceed up to Raleigh on a branch line.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
