A UP officer's special from Silver Bow, Montana crests 5432 ft. Apex, Montana (north of Dillon) on Oct. 11, 1993. After navigating the entire 255 mile Montana Subdivision, the 11 car train will tie up for the night at the Union Pacific station in Pocatello, Idaho.
