| MP4 is a MetroPort train running from port of Tauranga to their inland port terminal in South Auckland. The trains run around the clock 6 days a week, mostly DL hauled (sometimes treated to a DXB - GE U26C C30 MMi.) The DL class were built 2010 - 2014 in China by CNR Dalian Locomotive & Rolling Stock and have MTU engines producing about 3600HP. |
