A southbound Union Pacific manifest freight climbing the steep grades of Tehachapi Pass has stalled at Bealville, California, with locomotive problems. No surprise, since this train is powered by two of UP’s EMD SD90MAC-H locomotives that were having their share of problems. Traffic still has to move over the hill, as a BNSF stack train passes the hapless train on the main on March 6, 2001.
