RJC-1 brings the first cut of loads from the Clymer loadout through the Rosebud loadout in Stifflertown, PA as an MOW crew takes a break to let the train pass by. Even in 2013, operations on this line were sporadic, but with coal's continued decline, the Clymer loadout has closed once already, and is rumored to be closed again. And the coal shuttle which ran from Stifflertown is just a distant memory. Let us not forget Conrail had given up on these coal branches when they were tossed to RJ Corman in 1995.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
