Remarks & Notes |
All Ready With Nowhere to Go... The crew of this eastbound stack train shuts the headlights of the BNSF 8208 completely off; indicating that their day is done. The crew had just started their 150 mile journey to Barstow when a gas line began to leak near the track along the BNSF San Bernardino Subdivision. As a result, the whole line was shut down. The crew has tied the train down and is now waiting for a crew van to take them back to the port. The reset of the Amtrak trains that night were cancelled and BNSF began negotiating with other neighboring railroads to detour BNSF train on their lines. |
