Remarks & Notes |
The main components of wind turbine generation are seen on a southbound UP train in Fountain today. Up front are the wind rotor hubs, followed then by the nacelle which contains all the electrical generating equipment and last but not least are the wind blades. All of these products are manufactured at the Vestas Plant in Brighton, CO. Two other Vestas plants located in Colorado produce wind blades and tower sections in the cities of Windsor and Pueblo respectively. |
